Slider-Style Mini Burgers

Ingredients

  • Cooking spray
  • 2 pounds ground turkey (optionally chicken or beef)
  • 1 (1.25-ounce) envelope onion soup mix
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 24 dinner rolls, split
  • ½ cup sliced pickles

Directions

  1. Preheat Oven
    Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil and grease with cooking spray. Grease a sheet of aluminum foil; set aside.

  2. Cook Ground Turkey
    In a large skillet over medium-high heat, mix ground turkey and onion soup mix; cook and stir until turkey is crumbly and evenly browned, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard any excess grease.

  3. Add Cheese and Mayonnaise
    Remove the skillet from heat; stir in Cheddar cheese and mayonnaise until well combined.

  4. Assemble Sliders
    Place the bottom halves of the dinner rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Spread the turkey mixture evenly onto each bottom half; cover with the top halves of the rolls. Cover the assembled sliders with the greased sheet of aluminum foil.

  5. Bake
    Bake in the preheated oven until the sliders are heated through and the cheese is melted, about 30 minutes.

  6. Serve
    Add sliced pickles to each slider before serving.
